Winter Olympics Contest Day #2: Short Track Speed Skating
Short Track Speed Skating became an event in the Winter Olympic Games in 1992. The events, for both men and women, include 500 m, 1000 m, 1500 m, and a relay. Injuries most commonly associated with Short Track Speed Skating include lacerations below the knee, with skaters cut by their own skate blades or those of a competitor, and ankle fractures.
