Elle 'The Feet' McPherson showing off her biggest assetsAre you sitting at home, browsing the July 4th shoe sales, and wondering just how your foot size measures up to others?

Well, according to the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the average  woman wears a size 9 shoe, but some of our favorite icons wear kicks well beyond that number. Read on for your Houston podiatrist's list of famous women that might have a hard time squeezing into their  heels and sound off in the comments if you know of some that I've missed.

Size 10s

Jacqueline Kennedy
Arguably one of the most famous (and best dressed) first ladies, Jackie O had to scramble to find big shoes to match her cute little pillbox hats.

Cindy Crawford
The model must have upped the sample-size shoes during her days on the runway.

Audrey Hepburn
The Breakfast at Tiffany’s star apparently bought shoes that were half a size too big so that her toes didn’t look squished.

Size 11s

Meg Ryan
The Sleepless in Seattle star credits her acting skills to her (giant) feet. “It’s all in the shoes,” she once told Elle magazine.

Oprah
Four years ago, the TV and magazine giant discovered she’d been wearing shoes that were one size too small, so she auctioned all her old size 10 pairs on eBay.

Paris Hilton
Poor Paris complains that when she wears designer heels, “they look like clown shoes on me!” Even worse? She says she “can’t wear flats because (her) feet are too long.”

Uma Thurman
Quentin Tarantino’s girlfriend once let him drink wine from her incredibly large Louboutin pumps.

Whoopi Goldberg
The View hostess has big feet to match her big personality!

Kate Winslet
The Titanic star has complained “It’s entirely unfair that I ended up with these huge feet" since she’s only 5”6.

Size 12

Elle McPherson
She’s been dubbed ‘The Body’ but with feet that large, maybe a different nickname is in order…

Size 13

Missy Franklin
The Olympic gold-medal swimmer says, “I absolutely hate going shoe shopping—because everything is so cute, but nothing ever fits."
